To maintain its position as a leading business services provider, PwC created New Ventures, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) incubator to help identify new business opportunities and unlock value. Given the task of translating opportunities into viable products, New Ventures set about creating a portfolio of software products for medium and large enterprises.

What They Needed
As PwC ramped up their New Ventures initiative, they needed highly experienced product strategists, product designers and creatives with deep experience in all aspects of developing products from concept to launch to help actualize and launch their maiden voyage platform.

The Solution
Axioned dropped in a highly-efficient, senior team to integrate with PwC business owners, product leads and development teams to work through all phases of product development including strategy, product validation, concepting, design and prototyping. We also worked closely with the engineering teams through the development process to provide ongoing creative iteration support through the platform launch.

The biggest achievement for this engagement was Trust. The first New Ventures project was PwC’s Digital Platform for Franchises, a tool that helps solves one of the franchise business biggest challenges. The Franchise arena counts for an enormous sector of total businesses and revenue but has fundamental marketing challenges. The Digital Platform for Franchises is now a flagship PwC product and a viable model for the development of future products and platforms.
